The Introduction:
Konnichiwa! And welcome to my journal... This is Renee, the 25 year old professional student speaking, and I'll be guiding you on this tour of my informations! Basically, this is a friends only journal... meaning it is FRIENDS ONLY. Nothing personal, but I tend to ramble on about things that seem to only interest me (READ: MONEY) and at great length. While I don't feel all the comfortable saying that much on this public plane, I do believe that what I give you in the way of information will be enough for you to pass judgment on me in terms of frienditude :P
(You may be wondering why no user info: It's much easier for me to make a post that is easily editable than it is to have a tricked out bio that I'd want to change and add stuff to all the time, so this is it :P)
The Favorites Game:
Curious about my favorites? Here is a list (ever growing) that should aid you on your quest.
Where My Interests Lie:
I'm a big fan of many things, and chances are, you are a fan or are interested in some of the same things. Check out my list below to get an idea of what makes this girl happy in the pants!
Find me elsewhere:
Not really looking for a new friend but instead just looking for what you can get? Well, you can find me at these other places on livejournal:
Friending Policy:
I'm horribly easy to get along with. That doesn't mean I'm a pushover, but I'm quick to forgive and move on. That said, I will not be adding anyone that I've removed from my friends list because of something they did that upset me. Just won't do it. Those people (usually, not always) tend to be two-faced and I can't stand that. I've only got so many cheeks, so when one gets slapped I tend to protect the other a bit. I'll still forgive you, just won't forget x____x;
As for new friends (meaning people I've not talked to before) as long as we have things in common and similar views (not always a requirement but we get along better that way) then feel free to add me and comment here.
If you are someone I know in real life then you don't really have a chance. I also know the tricks of those that just want to see if you say anything about them, so I'm not going to friend those that seem as though they are new to Livejournal or don't have a single entry in their journals. I'm not stupid, yes? The only exceptions to this rule is my sisters.
Don't add me if you only want a large friends list or someone that comments a lot. I DON'T COMMENT THAT MUCH. I believe that unless i have something useful to contribute that there is no need to comment. However, if you are on my friends list, be aware that I DO read it. Unless it is an entry specifically outlined for spammage, I will not spam you :( Please respect that and don't get mad if I'm not a comment whore x____x;
The Conclusion:
If you've read all that and can meet the requirements of the friending policy, then feel free to add me and comment. I'll prolly add you back if you seem interesting enough and if we have enough in common :P

The Favorites Game:
Curious about my favorites? Here is a list (ever growing) that should aid you on your quest.
- Anime: Rurouni Kenshin / Sailor Moon (Seriously threatened to kill my brother once because he was making too much noise as I was watching RK!)
- Book: Three Weeks With My Brother by Nicolas Sparks
- Food: Lasagna & Pizza
- Game: Final Fantasy VIII (though I'm now delving into the rest of the series, this was my first), Devil May Cry 3, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (SUCH AN AWESOME GAME!)
- Hobby: Building websites and designing. I love the whole process :P I also like to read, play games, talk with friends, watch movies, and the usual stuffs :P
- Manga: Fruits Basket -- There is a lot to learn about human nature and base instincts from this manga and I recommend it to everyone that seems as though they might be mildly interested in manga.
- Movie: Glory, My Fair Lady, The POTC Trilogy, The LOTR Trilogy, Young Frankenstein
Where My Interests Lie:
I'm a big fan of many things, and chances are, you are a fan or are interested in some of the same things. Check out my list below to get an idea of what makes this girl happy in the pants!
Vampires FTW! I have always had an affinity for the bloodsucking demons of the night, and I guess I always will. I've never tired of all the vampire shows, movies, books, drama, and whatever else vampire related. In fact, whenever I imagine myself writing a book or making a manga (something me and my sister talk about all the time) we always have some way to integrate vampires into the story. It is just that popular with us (me mostly). The bloodier and sexier it is, the more I like it.
Music I love music. There is no doubting that. I love English music, Japanese music (or rather, Asian music in general), German music, Russian music, well, you get the idea. I'm ALWAYS listening to music when I'm at my computer (which is most likely why my studying never has a lasting effect...) and am always on the lookout for new and interesting sounds (and open to recommendations!). At the moment, I'm very into Tsuchiya Anna, Hamasaki Ayumi, Nightwish, Within Temptation (I've got their autographs!), Epica, BoA, and many more.
Books Books are made of win, because they just are. Books rock faces off and if you don't like to read you don't know what you're missing. Give me a bloody, sexy, romantic vampire book and I'll be totally satisfied :P I also like fantasy books, some types of autobiographies, some scholarly essays and so on. Basically, if it can be read, I'll read it.
Movies I love action movies cause BAM POW ACTION. But I'm also a closet romantic, so I usually watch romantic chick flicks alone x( Kissing on screen is embarrassing to me, so I avoid watching too much of those, but yeah. I also love trilogies (Lord of the Rings), movie series (James Bond, Harry Potter), and more. As long as it isn't too corny I can stand a comedy. I just really don't like movies that are so obviously corny that it's all cliche'd... hence my hate for White Chicks (even though I own the movie... *beats self*).
Livejournal One of my friends from way back in my first internet days introduced me to Livejournal and I've had one every since. While this one is relatively new (I think it was started in 2005?) I have had one in some form since 2003 (way back when you have to have an invite to get in xd). They are so much fun and are a great way to meet new people that are interested in the same kinds of things you are. I've met most all of my online friends through Livejournal. I hope to have one as long as I can, as I just seriously love the network and community :P
Web Design I started out in web design only because I wanted to know how it was done. It fascinated me that people could use code (basically to me at the time just text) and get something to look the way they wanted. It was amazing. After I got started in it, I found that I liked it a lot and it quickly turned into an all consuming hobby, but now I practice it in moderation :P

Not really looking for a new friend but instead just looking for what you can get? Well, you can find me at these other places on livejournal:
1stdreamnet (1st Dream Network Updates) — This is my update journal used for, well, updates. It services all my sites, fanlstings, shrines, to do lists, potential ideas, and whatever else related to site design and so on. All posts are public and open for discussion. Join or friend this community if you wish to keep up with the site going ons of the network!
iconsnoir (The Icons Noir) — This community is for icons... hence the name. I may or may not post often there, just depends on my time and so on. It is friends only, so if you want to see anything there, you have to join.
musicnoir (The Music Noir) — This community is nothing more than a random (mostly biweekly) music rotation. It's purpose is to share music that I find interesting. Simple as that. You have to join it to see any posts with actual content.
tastemybeatlife (Taste My Beat Life!) — Serves as an update log and community hub for my fansite for the wonderful Tsuchiya Anna. I may change the name sometime, but it does for now. It is currently public, but anything media related (music, video, commercial, image downloads) will be friends only, so you might as well join for posting access as well :P Any lover of Anna is a friend of ours!
